Raukawa Falls on SH4 (Parapara Highway), with canoeists in the pool below. These falls are usually full width - we have had a long dry summer!
Looking south from Turoa Skifield carpark toward Ohakune - we were at cloud level. The wind on Dave's frilly bits was quite strong.
It was good to take Don's cherry, with a one day old Bonnie no longer new - plenty of dust for him to clean off now! An ideal bike for NZ roads.
Dave (fart) found a rubber band to tie up his whiskers. He should have tied them into a bun
Don arriving at Morgan's Grave on the Forgotten World Highway. The gravel was quite fine and the road in good condition (OK for me - I was leading heh heh heh)
Three wise monkeys at Ohakune after lunch - Barbershop, fart and Horse.
Spider at the Irish pub Waterford Arms. The Guinness was like mothers' milk.
When we left on our overnight ride we were pressed for time, and had lots of time (and reminders) to gas up before we left. Two offenders holding up the ride on Saturday morning....
Our travelling laptop geek, aka Gluten Head or Veggie, looks impressive having found a spot with WiFi!
The chilli just starting to cook on our first day. I was looking forward to re-heated leftovers, but her indoors ditched it while we were away riding. Pity....
